E = (Environment) ou lettre blanche "U" (Umwelt), désignant un véhicule équipé d'un moteur Euro-1.
EEV = Enhanced environmentally friendly vehicle (emission category between V and VI)
is a term used in the European emission standards for the definition of a
“clean vehicle” > 3.5 tonne in the category M2 and M3.
The standard lies between the levels of Euro V and Euro VI.
G = denoting Gerauscharm Fahrzeug (ie noiseless/quiet vehicle): German version of the
Austrian “L” plate for use only on diesel vehicles meeting German low-noise
requirements – similar to those for Austria as above.
L = Larmarm Fahrzeug (c'est-à-dire véhicule silencieux) : Version autrichienne du symbole pour les véhicules diesel silencieux qui sont :
- les camions de petite et moyenne taille dont la puissance ne dépasse pas 150 kW et dont le niveau de bruit ne dépasse pas 78 dB.
- les poids lourds de plus de 150KW dont le niveau de bruit ne dépasse pas 80dB.
S = (Sicher/safe) désigne un véhicule équipé d'un moteur Euro-2 et de dispositifs de sécurité.
3 = désigne un véhicule équipé d'un moteur Euro-3 et de dispositifs de sécurité.
4 = désigne un véhicule équipé d'un moteur Euro-4 et de dispositifs de sécurité.
5 = désigne un véhicule équipé d'un moteur Euro-5 et de dispositifs de sécurité.
6 = désigne un véhicule équipé d'un moteur Euro-6 et de dispositifs de sécurité.
A = obligatoire en Allemagne sur tous les véhicules transportant des déchets.
