The brand was the first in the world to present a production car with a V-16 engine. The Cadillac V16 was a luxury car produced by Cadillac from 1930 to 1940. It was one of the most expensive and prestigious cars of the time, costing around $7,500 (equivalent to over $100,000 today). Despite its high price tag and the onset of the Great Depression, the Cadillac V16 was a success, with around 4,000 units produced over the course of its 10-year production run. The car remains a highly sought-after collector’s item today.
