EEV
= Enhanced environmentally friendly vehicle (emission category between V
and VI) is a term used in the European emission standards for the
definition of a “clean vehicle” > 3.5 tonne in the category M2 and
M3. The standard lies between the levels of Euro V and Euro VI.
G
= denoting Gerauscharm Fahrzeug (ie noiseless/quiet vehicle): German
version of the Austrian “L” plate for use only on diesel vehicles
meeting German low-noise requirements – similar to those for Austria as
above.
L = steht für Larmarm Fahrzeug (d.h. geräuscharmes Fahrzeug): Österreichische Version des Symbols für leise Dieselfahrzeuge, die sind:
- kleine und mittelgroße Lastkraftwagen mit nicht mehr als 150KW, die einen Geräuschpegel von höchstens 78dB erzeugen.

S = (Sicher/safe) bezeichnet ein Fahrzeug mit Euro-2-Motor und Sicherheitsausstattung.

4 = bezeichnet ein Fahrzeug mit einem Euro-4-Motor und Sicherheitsmerkmalen.
5 = bezeichnet ein Fahrzeug mit einem Euro-5-Motor und Sicherheitsmerkmalen.
6 = Bezeichnung für ein Fahrzeug mit Euro-6-Motor und Sicherheitsausstattung.
A = in Deutschland für alle Fahrzeuge vorgeschrieben, die Abfälle befördern.
